About Me
I am a former healthcare professional turned software developer. While I found the work I was doing healthcare to be important, I didn't find it to be as rewarding as I thought it would be. I have always had a passion for technology, but it took me years to realize that it was something that I wanted to pursue as a career. When the pandemic hit, I took it as a sign to finally make that change.
I enrolled in an immersive 6-month coding bootcamp that focused on full stack web development where I spent 100+ hours each week learning common industy tools like JavaScript, React, Redux, Express, Python, Flask, and SQLAlchemy. Since then I have built several full-stack applications, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I am super excited about solving problems and learning how to use new technologies to help make the world a better place.
Some of my hobbies outside of coding include pretendng that I know what I'm doing in a kitchen, playing way too many video games, rooting for the L.A.
